Nature Macro Photography
I like photography as it enables us to capture memories and be able to keep it forever. Photography helps me forget about the stress I constantly face as a student. Being able to take photos without any limitation also expands my imagination and shows how I interpret and see things. Generally, I like to take pictures of my surroundings , especially when I am visiting somewhere new. It allows me to document what I have seen and done . With nature photography, I’ve come to appreciate the plants and flowers around me more. I have also learnt how to take photos using a macro lens. Using the macro lens, it captures things that we don’t usually notice. Through this experience I have really learnt a lot and it deepened my love for photography. One of the pictures I really liked was the star shaped flower. I really took a lot of patience as I had to stand there for a long time to get a nice shot. Teacher Angeline’s class is also always very fun and I always learn something new!Whether I pursue photography as a job in the future or just as a hobby, I hope I will continue to take photos!

Nature Macro Photography
I enjoy using the macro lens because I get to see more about what I am taking a picture of. For example I can see the pollen on a flower very clearly when i usually can’t.
I like Panoramic Kids lessons as I always get to try different things during them. It also allows me to see the beauty in everything, and allow me to make things that seem normal or average seem more special and unique in a way.

Nature Macro Photography
I enjoyed attending the Panaromic Kids workshops. Teacher Angeline and her students are friendly and approachable. Through these classes, I can also make new friends. I am given sufficient time to explore the vicinities and take my photographs without any pressure. In these classes, I am given time and space to experiment with the camera settings on site. Through these lessons I can experience the equipment I can’t afford. I look forward to future classes as I know it would be mostly fun even though it would be tiring. I like that Teacher Angeline is straightforward when commenting on our photographs and giving us tips. To me, the students and teacher In class are like a family as we mingled like we’ve known each other for a long time. Thank you Panoramic Kids for the experience.

Nature photography
During the nature photography course, we took photos of flowers, trees and animals. We used a macro lens, which is a special type of lens that allows you to take photos of very small things. Teacher Angeline also taught us how to use the camera zoom to take pictures of flower patterns. I enjoyed the course because we got to use the macro lens to take nice nature photos.Food photography
At the food photography course, we took photos of different types of food such as pancakes, cookies and fruits. We learnt how to use natural light to take good photos of food. Teacher Angeline also taught us how to arrange the food nicely, to make the photographs even better. I enjoyed the course very much, and we also got to eat the food after taking photos – it was delicious!Fireworks photography
For the fireworks photography class, we took photographs of fireworks during National Day rehearsals. Because fireworks take place during the night, we had to use a special mode to take photographs, called bulb mode. Teacher Angeline also taught us how to use the remote control to take fireworks photographs, so that the camera would not shake. I enjoyed the course because it was very exciting to see the fireworks up close.Samuel ( 8 years old as of 2016)

I love watching the masterchef series so I was over the moon when my mum sent me to the food photography course. Anything to do with nice looking food is just wonderfulMy favourite was splash photography. We had to drop a lemon into a glass of water to create a splash and shoot with the camera at the right time. We had to be quick with our finger to capture the splashes. It was such fun!
I also liked the mini ‘exam’ where we had to use green apples to create something nice for a picture. It was exciting to brainstorm and work with my team mates Ashley, Dion and Allison. We decided to put a few apples in a basket and made it pretty by putting some christmas decorations on it. The result was awesome!
There were other interesting photography lessons on food movement. I learnt so much during the course. ISO, aperture and shutter speed must be right to create the perfect shot. I am now a better photographer. Thank you Ms Angeline!
For splash photography, Ms Angeline taught us to set the camera to continuous shooting mode so that we could capture a few different shots of the water splashing.

Fireworks photography
It was an amazing experience. This is my first time taking photos of fireworks. It was tough controlling the camera settings. The fireworks is so nice!Cat photography
I’m glad to learn about the behaviours and communications of cats through their body language. The cat kept moving while i was trying to take a nice photo of them but i’m glad to be able to take some great shots in the end!

Hi Ms Angeline,
I am glad that Ethan found an interest in photography, he has always being an active boy but when it comes to photography, it totally changed him into a different person. His concentration & focus level has improved, and he look forward to attend every lesson. With your professional guidance, he is now able to use the DSLR camera to capture beautiful pictures. He loves the feeling of pride he gets when he takes pictures of food, insects, plants, etc & they turn out good. The most enjoyable & memorable experience he had was the photography exhibition at NEX Public Library, he & his friends were able to teach children how to use the DSLR camera to capture photo of flowers. With your patience & professionalism, photography has indeed benefits Ethan, it develops his personality, characters & stimulate his creativity. Ethan look forward to attend more interesting lessons with you, these lessons create meaningful & productive after-school activity!
Thanks & Regards

Stopmotion Animation Beginners Level 1 Course- A workshop that combined fun and creativity with learning. Preparing their own props and doing up clay figurines, having their imagination to run wild and able to see their ideas and thoughts come to life in the short clip. Adan had a fantastic time! I learnt about the different types of photography terms – textures, exposures and also the different patterns in nature such as burst, spirals, meander and packing. I love using the DSLR camera to take more pictures. I’ll recommend my friends for this class because they may want to take up the hobby of photography. I wish to take photos of the birds at the birdpark.

I think the course was very resourceful and helped me improve my photography skills, i learnt many new things from the course, in my opinion, i loved the part when we explored the butterfly gardens and took many photos of beautiful flowers and plants. I think that the most meaningful part of the course was when i learnt about the rule of thirds as i have never taken a photography course before. I felt that everything was meaningful for me to learn. I hope in in the future we will be able to learn about how to take photos of moving objects or photos of cats and dogs. Thank you so much for teaching me, i really enjoy your class.

“The workshop was well paced for a 4yr old with sufficient breaks and included written and colouring activities to provide intermittent rests from the walks to take photos and also introduced some simple terms relating to photography. At the end of the session, the kids were given a certificate giving them a sense of accomplishment. My daughter said taking photos of the birds was very fun as much as she liked taking photos of the plants and fruits. I felt the session got more and more interesting that at one point, my daughter didn’t want to take breaks but continue taking more photos. In conclusion, it was a good way to spend one morning of their holidays.”

“Thank you for being such a fantastic teacher. The kids totally loved the workshop and wished they could have stayed longer…haha☺. I must say it is a priceless experience of well rounded and informative workshop in making the kids feel more confident in handling the DSLR and understand the basic photography concepts in a fun way. Glad that we (my son and myself) were given the opportunity to hang around and learn with them along the way. The only question from the girls were when will be the next coming nature photography workshop.”

Mum of Meressa (8 years old as of 2015)“Thanks for the wonderful session on Monday! It was a pretty relaxed session and we basically we went with the flow of the children. Teacher Angeline was patient with them even though they got too engrossed with nature at some point… It was nice to have someone teaching the kids how to love and appreciate nature and most importantly, capture lovely images of nature. What I really liked about the session was that Teacher Angeline was very encouraging in terms of getting the kids to explore and observe the plants/animals around them, allowing them to make use of their senses to touch, feel and see the flowers/fruits/animals etc. Emmanuel really enjoyed the session a lot, so thank you very much! ”

The 2-day workshop was well-received by the pupils. They had fun learning and exploring the use of a DSLR camera. Many of them had previously only relied on the smartphone camera to dabble with photography. Angeline has helped them appreciate picture composition through theory, application and practice. Most importantly Angeline was able to pitch it successfully to cater to the diverse age group (7-12year olds) and helped them understand an otherwise complicated skill. Now who says a 7year old cannot appreciate photography or manipulate a DSLR. We were all pleasantly surprised!

Jeremiah enjoyed the lesson and said it was not difficult to use the DSLR camera. His grandmother was so impressed with the pictures that he took. At first, she thought those were the pics from the teacher. My son is keen to learn some more photography skills as he feels a sense of achievement when he can get a good picture. He also starts to notice more of the flowers around him after attending the lesson.
