About Angeline Tang (Founder/Chief Trainer)
My idea of education is about bringing wonders, joy and laughter to kids. I have a great passion for teaching photography and passing on the skills. Working with children and young adults, and seeing the wonder in their eyes when they realise that they can create something on their own and with their own hands, that is the goal I strive for.
A skilled and caring teacher
Teaching since 2007, Angeline has run both photography and stop-motion animation courses for various primary and secondary schools. Her years of training and continual learning have honed her skills in education and in forming real connections with her students.
The road has not been smooth sailing. Angeline found that the students’ progress was held back by a lack of equipment, a lack of standardisation in trainers and training, and a lack of commitment.
“It wasn’t possible to really engage these students when 6 of them have to share a DSLR. They’re trying to learn something but by the time the camera comes to them, the teacher needs to move on.”
Frustrated by these circumstances, Angeline established her own company, and runs Panoramic Kids today. She is determined to have the kids truly enjoy photography.
A background in art, media and design
With a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media Management from the University of South Australia, Angeline also has a Diploma and a distinction in Interactive Media Design at Temasek Polytechnic. She is a trained graphics designer by profession and was also a student photojournalist with Singapore Press Holdings from 1998 to 2001. Angeline left the advertising industry when she felt herself called and moved into what she sees as her true passion – education.
A passion for photography and a love for children, animals and nature
“Photography is a creative outlet for storytelling. You’re telling a story from the subject’s perspective, where the subject makes a connection with you via the viewfinder. I enjoy capturing the amazing range of love, beauty and emotion in kids and animals.”
As an animal lover, Angeline uses every chance to build her skill. She takes photos of stray cats under her block and at the animal shelter, and frequents gardens and parks for new inspirations.

I have gained much experience and valuable skills under her teaching. Ms Tang is experienced in ICT fields such as video editing, designing using adobe, animation using flash and also photography. It has been an enjoyable 4 years learning journey of ICT skills from her as she conducts her lessons in a lively and cheerful way. Under her valuable guidance, our CCA has clinched many awards such as top in the National Podcast Competition 2008 & 2009 and personally for me, Merit in Mobile Animation Challenge 2010 and Top 50 finalist for Youth Category in Asian Geographic photography competition 2010. Being a very keen observer, she works well with people and knows best when to speak, be it to encourage or to give suggestions. Learning from her has always been fun and enjoyable as she has a unique way of making things interesting and note worthy. She is open-minded and welcomes others to have their own ideas. Ms Tang was my ICT trainer when I was in Infocomm. Her lessons were enjoyable and she ensures that her students understands her teaching before she moves on. She is knowledgable in the subject matter she is teaching which includes photography, video editing, Adobe Photoshop as well as Flash. Under her guidance, she ensures her students develop to their full potential. She is a supportive mentor who never give up on her students. When students are participating in competitions she will go all out to help each and every group when they are facing with difficulty, imparting bits and pieces of ideas to develop our originality in our masterpieces. Personally my interest for photography started off with Ms Tang’s lesson.
